  • Criteria to calculate Fundamental Stars  Tradelytics analyzes balancesheets of all US Equities daily. Each stock receives a star based comprehensive assessment across three ranking systems and then aggregated 
    • Buffett System: higher weights on Quality and Value metrics.
    • Growth System: higher weights on Growth metrics, especially earnings, revenue, FCF, and net income trends.
    • Balanced System: roughly equal weighting across Value, Quality, and Growth.

  • Criteria to calculate Technical Stars
    • Highest emphasis is given to Alpha, Max 2 Stars depending upon by how much margin the Target Alpha is exceeded.
    • Beta, PercentReturn, MarginalVar or Var , Information Ratio, Sharpe Ratio will each have maximum one star if target is exceeded or else 1 - distance from target.
  • Machine Learning Model
    • To determine securities for which the prediction of their %return and max-fall has been most consistent in recent past. 
    • Model is evolving, in very early stage, currently R2 is measured based on daily prediction and observed returns for the Performance Duration  of 30 days.
    • Securities with R2 > .6 are for sure included in Daily Pipeline to monitor for a potential Trade.
